Chicken Lazone
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup unsalted butter, divided
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, heavy cream, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet. Simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to heat through and the sauce to thicken.
Serve the chicken topped with the creamy sauce and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
