Cracker Barrel Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Glaze:
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper, crushed Ritz crackers, shredded cheddar cheese, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet or in the loaf pan.
In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the glaze. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
