Cheesy Tennessee Baked Onions
Ingredients:
4 large sweet onions, sliced into 1/2-inch rings
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350Ā°F (175Ā°C). Grease a large baking dish.
Arrange the onion slices in the baking dish, separating them into rings.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the onions.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the onions.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the onions are tender.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
