Creamy Beef and Pasta Shells
Ingredients:
1 lb medium pasta shells
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.
Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
